What do I want? Trying to find my way in 2019

Yesterday I shared an Instagram post that I thought I’d share here.

When less is more…

I’m overwhelmed.

It’s January 8th and I already feel like I’m falling behind this year. How can that be??

I haven’t worked on my vision board.

I don’t know my “why”.

I don’t have a “word” for the year.

I don’t know my “purpose”.

I do, however, have a notice in front of me that tells me I spent 46 hours and 13 mins on my phone in the last 7 days.

And that doesn’t include the hours I spent on my computer.

So it’s time to re-group and figure out what I want. The very first thing on the list has to be LESS phone time.

What’s your screen time in the last 7 days? If you have an iPhone you can go to settings and click on screen time. Go ahead, do it….I dare you.

29.5 hours of social media!!

That post got me thinking and I realize I need to stop. Just stop. It’s easy to just keep doing what I’m doing and I even feel like I’m being productive, because I’m busy doing what I’m doing.

But where is it getting me? Or better yet, where do I want to go?

My last video was 2 months ago

So I’ve decided to take the day off and just be by myself. No social media or internet or have to’s – just time to think.

My plan: work on my vision board, spend time in gratitude, go for a hike by myself and think (and feel), be quiet and listen.

I’ll let you know what I discover…

    Oh my goodness I love this! I have never looked at my screen time, so maybe I should. I need to do a day like that too! Thank you for so much encouragement and reminders to stay focused on what is important. And for sharing your story!
