It’s Wednesday check in and I want to share that I am doing the happy dance!
I’ve been slowly and steadily losing weight and I’m finally at a place where I feel so much better. And it shows-inside and out. A few good wins added together can really make a difference in my attitude, which then spurs me on to continue.
The best thing I did for myself was to keep going. Even when I was discouraged with a very slow process, I kept going and I will continue. I have a way to go, but I know I can do it now.
And, I can enjoy life along the way.
I loved our Europe vacation this spring, and I ate everything I wanted at all of the birthday parties and summer celebrations. But when the party’s over, I reminded myself to get back on track and eat less and exercise more.
Looking at the process, I can see that I want it all. I want to enjoy life and be healthy and fit and EAT things I want to. Especially during celebrations. But I had to remember to stop the celebrating once it was over.
That took me longer to figure out.
So I kept going and little by little the weight came off. I’ll admit that I have help from my best friend and her weight loss clinic…shhh…that’s the real secret. But I’ll tell you more about that later.
